What Is NDIS?
The NDIS is a new way for people with a disability under the age of 65 to receive specialised care and support for their health and wellbeing.
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) was introduced in 2013. This scheme is coordinated and implemented by the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA), which allows individuals with a permanent and significant disability to access government funding to avail assistance or products that help a person in their daily life and help them participate in the community and reach their goals.
